Our current customers have volunteered the following quotes so that you our future customers may know their experience of Dy-Dee Diaper Service.

Comfort
Cotton is more comfortable and healthier for your baby than any other material. Cotton tenderly embraces your baby’s bottom with a velvety smoothness that is gentle to the most sensitive skin.
“It’s so much nicer for baby to have soft, comfy, natural cotton on his skin.”
Jennifer Savage, Lancaster
Dy-Dee customer for 46 weeks

The Environment
Each baby diapered in disposables adds 1000 pounds of non- recyclable trash to our mounting landfill problems each year. It takes 20 trees to produce the wood pulp for these diapers. A cotton diaper is 100% recyclable. A disposable diaper is 100% garbage.
“Natural cotton is the preferred, natural and time honored way to diaper a child as opposed to filling our landfills with plastic.”
Minette Read, Altadena,
Dy-Dee customer for 14 consecutive years!

Health
Leaving a baby in a soiled diaper is the leading cause of diaper rash. The chemically induced dryness of a disposable encourages infrequent diaper changing. Cotton diapers help keep parents aware of their baby’s need to wear a clean diaper.
“People believe that with disposables they can get away with changing the baby less. This is abhorrent…babies deserve care and attention, not just convenience for…parents.”
Roberta McGinley, Venice,
Dy-Dee customer for 60 weeks

Convenience
We pick up and deliver each week…right to your door. No muss. No fuss.
“You never have to worry about running to the store at 10 p.m. because you need more diapers.”
Christina Baker, Rancho Cucamonga,
Dy-Dee customer for 127 weeks

Diaper Rash
In 1955, 100% of American babies were in cotton diapers and only 7% experienced diaper rash. In 1991, with 90% of American babies in disposable diapers, the occurrence of diaper rash increased to 78%.
“My son, Christian, is 22-months old. He’s only had one case of diaper rash. It was the first and only time.”
Christine Torchon, Sherman Oaks,
Dy-Dee customer for 93 weeks

No Rinsing
Cotton diapers do not require rinsing, unlike disposables which require rinsing fecal matter out before throwing them away. After taking our diaper off your baby, simply put it in the deodorized hamper. We’ll take care of the rest.
“You don’t have to touch the dirty diaper…the whole kit and caboodle goes right in the pail. No need to soak.”
Mary Gallogly, Los Angeles
Dy-Dee customer for 138 weeks

No Pins
With our velcro-fastening diaper covers, you won’t need pins! We carry a variety of sizes for purchase or rent.
“With diaper covers and no pins, it doesn’t take any longer to diaper a baby than when using disposables. My friends and family are surprised to see how easy and convenient cloth diapers are.”
Dana Clydesdale, Lancaster
Dy-Dee customer for 68 weeks

Cost
You can generally expect to spend less on diaper service diapers than disposables. In fact, if you change your baby as often as your baby’s health and comfort deserve, you will save 30% or more over disposables using our 100% cotton diapers.
“Even if paper diapers are purchased from a membership warehouse, the cost of cotton is less. I know…I’ve priced it out.”
Maria Kennedy, Arcadia,
Dy-Dee customer for 98 weeks

Breast feeding
After the first week, breast fed babies should have 6 to 8 wet diapers per day. Liquid altering chemicals in paper diapers leave you in the dark. When cotton diapers are used, you’ll know if your baby’s intake is sufficient.
“Cotton lets you know when it’s time (to change baby) rather than fooling you into thinking baby is dry.”
Natasha Prime, Los Angeles,
Dy-Dee customer for 111 weeks

Toilet Training
As babies grow older, they are more aware of the difference between being wet and dry. According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, babies diapered with disposables wear diapers an average of 36-42 months, as opposed to 24-30 months for diaper-service cotton diapered babies.
“…(in disposables), toilet training is more difficult because the child doesn’t feel as wet.”
Mary Ellen Thomas, Los Angeles,
Dy-Dee customer for 156 weeks
